Don’t let me go quietly into the night,
Stray my path from the shadow and into the light,
Don’t let me fall into the darkness,
And keep me away from this sadness,
Let me be happy in this world of mine,
Let our paths intertwine,
Let me be part of this life of yours,
Let this reality be ours,
I want walk in your light,
I want to hold you tight,
Let us be happy in this time,
Let us be the same,
I want to sleep in your arms,
I want to be taken by your charms,
Let us rest on the bed of grass,
And dream ours dreams made of glass,
That when morning comes brake,
And set the tone for the days we make,
So hold me tight as the hours pass,
As we lay on this bed of grass,
And when the time comes to part,
I want to see you as a work of art,
Not lost and forgotten to time,
But kept in my heart and loved, Beauty of mine.
